Jónsi – Go Do

If you love yourself some Sigur Rós, then you MUST listen to Jónsi. Jón Þór Birgisson (a.k.a. Jónsi) of Sigur Rós released his solo album entitled Go, and you can listen to the whole album on their site or facebook(I tried embedding it here, but WordPress wouldn’t let me! 😦 Any clue how I can do that?)! Anyway, here’s the official video of his first single Go Do and I’m loving it!!

I’m so in love with Sigur Rós, ever since I heard of Hoppípolla, and I think Jónsi has one of the best male singing voice EVER!!! *Sorry Justin Bieber! You just don’t cut it*

Here’s the video for Hoppípolla, if you never heard it before, or just wants to go back into that rush of emotion and nostalgic inspiration back in the days. 🙂 Be a fan“Like” Sigur Rós‘s Jónsi on facebook and listen to em now!

PS. I’m such a fan of colours, and I absolutely love the album art of Jónsi too. Pretty cool!

“Jón “Jónsi” Þór Birgisson is the guitarist and vocalist for the Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós. He is known for his use of a cello bow on guitar and his falsetto voice. Jónsi is blind in his right eye. He is also openly gay, and his boyfriend Alex Somers has done much of the graphic design for Sigur Rós.” He is ready to venture into his solo career and this is his first single, which is not that far away from her previous efforts. His solo album is titled Go and will be released April 5, 2010. Excerpt from Wikipedia.
