A lot of people noticed that I have disappeared from Facebook and Twitter and questioned what happened, to which I have yet to fully answer until now. Well, wonder no more as I answer them as best as I can.

1. Your facebook and twitter account’s gone! What happened?
Initially I wanted to be on a social media fast, and you know what social media can do to you. Your eyes get glued to the computer screen more than you like to admit. People have done it before so this is definitely not something new. But as much as I enjoy social media, I found that it has been giving me problems more than I can imagine, e.g. distractions, time wasting, miscommunication, etc. It was all spiralling out of control, so I’ve made the decision to cut my losses and move on.

2. Why the sudden decision?
Being a self proclaimed melancholic does have its moments. When things got sour, I did what chickens, cowards, ostritches, or any irrational person in the head would do. I ran away, dug myself a hole and put my head in it. Please don’t judge me. But no worries, I’m bound to lift my head up to check if the coast is clear.

3. Will you be coming back?
Most likely, unlikely. You know how we say we won’t do it again, but still did it? Well, I would like to keep this decision fulfilled.

4. Will you miss us?
Definitely. All my friends, followers, fellow designers, and so on. I would definitely miss communicating with you all. I will miss finding out new trends, and sharing stories and links with everyone. I’ve made so many new friends, from around the world and from local waters, and to which I have the privilege to even meet some of them is a pleasure.

5. What about other social media sites or this blog?
I just signed up for Google+ before this decision was made, but it’s likely I will not do much with it. As to why not deactivate it, did you know how long it took me to get that invite? Haha! I won’t be going on Foursquare as much either, and I probably will remove them when the time comes too. I however will leave my tumblr and this blog unscathed, as they are merely blogs to express my inner thoughts and finds.

Well, I guess that’s about it. Thank you for those who took the time to ask me if I’m alright. I’m fine, and I really appreciate the concern. You know who you are. Anyway, this decision is final, and mine alone. Cheers you guys. Thanks for giving me a wonderful online experience.

GASP! The music video to Vital’s second single, Saying is FINALLY out! If you never heard of Vital, then I suggest you watch his first music video titled, Airport. It was a beautiful video, full of colourful lights and sweet bokehs, not to mention the fun, dreamy music it entails!

So imagine my glee, when I found out he’s creating a music video for my next favourite song off his FREE debut EP album. Yes, you read me right. The songs are free and can be downloaded on his website. Well without further ado, here’s the video to Saying. And it was directed and created by the same person who directed Airport, TAKCOM.

On the down side, I find it too similar to Linkin Park’s new video, with all the digitalized paths and what-nots. Digital faces and lines are all the rage nowadays. (Recalling Thom Yorke) Also, I find it lackluster, compared to Airport, maybe because there’s not enough colourful swirly lines or random bokehs in there. *hint hint* But the music is great as always. Looking forward to new stuff from Vital.

I felt nostalgic after watching that FF trailer. I can’t remember the last time I played an RPG game. I really missed it. So it was an unexpected nerdgasm when I saw the trailer. And a homeless man has never been more cooler. And there’s talk about Google Goggles and all I can say is, Make. It. Happen. And get ready to get your adrenaline pumpin’ with Red Bull Rampage challenge. Also, I couldn’t stop laughing at the 360 swing act. Super FAIL.

I don’t know about you, but I am looking forward to Harry Potter. I read all the books except the last one, not to mention I’ve forgotten how the story went. *runs from wand zaps* I know, pathetic. Maybe when I have the time, I’ll reread the whole series and get myself cursing avada kedavra to people I dislike, or cast a spell for my work to complete itself.

Literacy’s the new word, I heard! Greenville Literacy Association, a group that helps illiterate adult students, are out to promote their “Really Good, Really Big, Really Cheap Book Sale”, a fair where books are sold at a bargain price. And what better way to do that than street illusions!

The concept behind this, created by the Bounce Agency is for everyday people to feel what illiterate people experience when they successfully deciphered a word a day. I say that’s clever! Get people to know what you do, and get them to come to your book sale. Kill two stones with one bird!

But soon enough, I found out that today, September 13th is actually International Chocolate Day! Oh boy, am I glad that this day was invented otherwise I would’ve felt guilty all day long! Which reminded me, of this special treat that my sister and brother in law got for me from Singapore.

A small treat for babysitting baby Deanna, and it’s enough to thrill me! More chocolate! And not just any chocolate, it’s iChoc!

Now you may think that this chocolate brand is in any way affiliated with the Apple giant, but nope, they’re not! Well not that I know of. I may need to do more extensive research regarding this. But nevertheless, let’s move on!

iChoc comes with 4 exquisite flavours, namely “Electric Licorice” (Creamy white chocolate with licorice), “GoGo Mango” ( Creamy white chocolate with pieces of mango), “Chillout Caramel” (Finest milk chocolate with caramel crisp) and “Wild Milk” (Pure fine milk chocolate). Now don’t they sound groovy?

What I like about it is the bright coloured packaging, as well as the concept, It’s Music. They may have jumped onto the commercial Apple bandwagon, but they are distinctive on their own. Firstly, they are organic, with no added emulsifier, and are created by EcoFinia, a well known manufacturer of the multi-award winning VIVANI chocolate. (Now why do I sound like I’m promoting them?)

Anyway, I only got the Electric Licorice and GoGo Mango flavours (Awww…), and I’ve tried the former. If you ask for my opinion, I would say I’m  not really a fan of the  licorice-ish taste; but I can tell you the white chocolate tasted nice! I also munched on Cadbury’s White Chocolate Dream earlier, and I still pretty much  prefered iChoc’s premium flavour. I have yet to taste the GoGo Mango, but I’m saving that for a special occasion. Teehee!

But that’s not all! I got a box of Duc d’O Mini Pralines from Chocalatier! Well, that’s a good thing, because I DON’T like nuts! But I have yet to try them either. :\
